The theme of OfficeNinjas’ 2022 Admin+ Month was “Together We Build.” We can’t think of a better way to describe the remarkable work done by Administrative+ professionals. Every day, they show up, and they make things happen. Often behind-the-scenes, on the fly, and without a map — or the recognition they so richly deserve.
That’s why we started the annual OfficeNinjas All-Star Awards in 2015.
Elevating and honoring the Admin+ profession is our mission 365 days a year. And every April during Admin+ Month, we pause to spotlight some of the best and brightest executive assistants, office managers, administrative business partners, operations coordinators, and beyond.
We help these builders shine even brighter by showering them with accolades. In addition to having their stories published in their own in-depth feature articles — this year’s All-Stars also received brilliantly curated prize packages from our #1 corporate gift company Onyx, personalized All-Star Award plaques, and a whole lot of love from the global Admin+ community.
During this year’s Admin+ Month festivities, we honored five stellar individual OfficeNinjas All-Stars and one outstanding OfficeNinjas All-Star Team. To find them, we invited executives, colleagues, and Admin+ professionals across the U.S. to nominate their office dynamos.
The bounty of responses we received confirmed what we already knew: Admin+ professionals are out there building BIG things, and their countless, creative contributions are not going unnoticed.
If you haven’t yet gotten to “meet” this year’s OfficeNinjas All-Stars or to experience their insightful featured stories, we assure you that you’re in for cheers, tears, and more. You’ll walk away enchanted, invigorated, and eager to do more building of your own.
I have loved reading everyone’s articles and learning so much. One thing that kept coming to mind was, “Dang! I’d love to have every one of you on our SAC Team!” Everyone is so inspiring, and it reinforces how lucky I am to be an Admin+ professional and know I’m among a great group of changemakers! — Ginny Smith, Stanford Administrative Champions (SAC)
Meet the 2022 OfficeNinjas All-Stars
Stanford Administrative Champions (SAC), Stanford, CA
What do you get when you bring five ambitious Admins together to hash out conference room scheduling issues in their building?
If you’re Stanford Administrative Champions (SAC), you get the inkling of an idea that will grow into a multi-department team supporting Stanford’s ENTIRE community of Admins across all of its campuses and remote locations.
To say SAC’s evolution went from grassroots to global is an understatement. Wondering how to follow its example to mobilize the collective Admin+ power within your own organization? SAC’s 13-person Core Team has tons of actionable advice to share in this fascinating Q&A.
Donna Parsons, Detroit, MI
If you know anything about OfficeNinjas, you know we’re big fans of growth mindset. Executive Assistant Team Specialist Donna Parsons embodies why we’re such fervent believers in this powerful way of thinking.
While Donna felt born for the Admin+ profession, she’s spent her career carving out her own path, spurred by a powerful combo of purpose and perseverance. She never stops trying to improve, and has an admirable fearlessness that comes with knowing that growth is the real endgame.
Donna is also the perfect example of the profound benefits of prioritizing your own fulfillment — because in order to be your best for everyone else, you’ve got to be your best for yourself first. Prepare to be inspired by Donna’s thoughtful Q&A.
Tyler Travis, Hollywood, FL
Executive Assistant Tyler Travis is celebrated for the tremendous impact she makes in her role. Knowledgeable, resourceful, reliable, creative, and passionate, she’s known for bringing a keen strategic perspective to the table, driving valuable new initiatives, and finding solutions that not only increase productivity at her company, but also enhance the experiences of everyone involved.
And did we happen to mention she does it all while raising a family, living with a serious autoimmune disease, and advocating for millions of other people coping with the same health challenges?
After reading Tyler’s compelling Q&A, we challenge you not to be energized by her can-do attitude.
Amanda Nunez, San Mateo, CA
Amanda Nunez didn’t know what was waiting for her when she followed her gut, left her comfy position, and stepped into an uncharted role at a company she knew little about. That company was Roblox, and Amanda is now its most tenured EA.
But Amanda doesn’t just lead a team of 20+ Admins. She’s also credited with having played a pivotal role in helping the tech company navigate and scale through tremendous growth — during the pandemic, no less.
If you’ve ever wondered whether or not to stay in your safe zone or leap into the unknown, Amanda’s perspective-changing Q&A is a must-read.

Analane Powell, Provo, Utah
Some groups say “cheese” when taking a photograph together. Not Analane Powell’s colleagues. They say, “We love Analane!”
It’s hardly a surprise this Administrative Assistant has such a devoted fan club. If we get back even a tenth of what we put out, Analane’s got A LOT of good stuff headed her way. In addition to helping everyone in her work community succeed and thrive, Analane is also a philanthropic powerhouse with her own charity, Angel Gowns by Analane.
Prepare to be uplifted by the amazing Analane’s moving Q&A.
Leanne Bailey, Toronto, Ontario
What would your boss say about you while introducing you during an awards ceremony? EA Leanne Bailey recently found herself asking this same question.
And while she’d had some initial concerns regarding whether her CEO had sufficiently prepared for the task at hand, it turns out she had nothing to worry about. His remarks that day not only blew her away, but were also tremendously validating.
Leanne’s been by her exec’s side for many years and through his ascent to the c-suite. Over that time, she’s achieved something many Admin+ pros aspire to: a seat at the table where she is comfortable presenting her authentic self.
Looking to find your own voice and feel more comfortable sharing it? Leanne’s empowering Q&A is for you.
