All Ninjas Shine …

But All-Stars SPARKLE!

Editor’s Note: We're searching for the best and brightest admin professionals and workplace operators in the US. Know an outstanding Ninja? Nominations for the 2020 All-Star Awards are now open!

Give It Up for the 2018 OfficeNinjas All-Stars!

Part of our Admin Week festivities, OfficeNinjas All-Stars is an online search for the best and brightest office managers, executive assistants, and administrative maestros. Kicking ass on a daily basis is the Office Ninja’s M.O., and All-Stars set the bar even higher with their creativity, resourcefulness, passion for efficiency, and can-do attitudes.

Can we get one last standing ovation for this year’s stellar lineup of OfficeNinjas All-Stars?! We’re so honored to recognize these next-level admins. And, beyond that, we’re brimming with pride for our entire community. Bravo to every single one of you for throwing your name in the ring, and big ups to your colleagues for their heartfelt support and nominations. An Office Ninja’s work is vital to the workplace, and it should be recognized and celebrated as such!

Day 1, April 23 – Verlance Friar

Congrats, Verlance Friar!

Office Vibe Manager, San Francisco, CA

Verlance wants everyone to stop taking themselves so seriously. That’s not to say he doesn’t take his work seriously. “I feel that what I do in and out of the office helps the people in my office who help people around the world,” he explains. “I see my work as Kiva’s Office Vibe Manager having a global impact. I get to help people help people.”

Day 2, April 24 – Kellie Edwards

Congrats, Kellie Edwards!

Executive Assistant II, Salt Lake City, UT

We don’t use the term “visionary” lightly, so you better believe it when we say that Kellie Edwards is a visionary among Office Ninjas! Kellie has not only changed, expanded, and elevated the role of Office Ninja for herself, but she’s also done the same for the other 25 executive assistants at her company.

Day 3, April 25 – Mimy Wraspir

Congrats, Mimy Wraspir!

Executive Assistant and Office Manager, San Mateo, CA

A good Ninja can keep an office happy and running efficiently. But it takes an All-Star like Mimy Wraspir to manage four offices and support multiple executives, all in different time zones. Her colleagues at Lattice Engines in San Mateo, CA aren’t quite sure how she does it, but they definitely appreciate her work!

Day 4, April 26 – Nicki Bartels

Congrats, Nicki Bartels!

Office Manager, Chicago, IL

“Tireless.” “Fearless.” “A consummate professional.” These are just some of the words Nicki Bartels’ co-workers used to describe her in their OfficeNinjas All-Stars nominations. Each of her nominators shared different stories of how Nicki helped improve office morale, took charge of a complicated project, or planned the most memorable event in the company’s history. Yet all of them emphasized one important fact: Nicki is a team player.

Day 5, April 27 – Ryann Farris

Congrats, Ryann Farris!

Executive Office Assistant, Conway, AR

By all accounts, Ryann was made for her role. Sure, she has Office Ninja skills in spades (we’ll get to those in a minute), but her commitment to serving others perfectly aligns with Tacos 4 Life’s social mission: to end world hunger.

“I have never been more proud to be an admin. This has helped validate my career and it was amazing to be the star when most of our work is done behind the scenes.”
