Our 4 Favorite Spots For Finding the Perfect (Free) Stock Photo

Whether you’re designing the perfect presentation to impress your boss, or looking for a great way to spruce up the office, finding great photos is an essential part of #NinjaLife. Heck, sometimes you just need a place to find great photos for your own personal decorating ideas, too! No matter where you’re coming from with your photo dilemma, we’ve got your back.

Finding the perfect photo is challenging enough, but it gets tougher when you’re picking from stock images, which have a notorious reputation for verging on the ridiculous. That’s why we rounded up four of our favorite spots for you to find your best photos yet. Happy (photo) hunting!

1. The Stocks.im

Sure The Stocks makes a bold claim, but they can back it up. The seemingly endless list of stunning photos makes it hard to choose just one. There’s even a section, called “New Old Stock” dedicated to vintage artwork, scanned in to make it easy to choose from any of the gorgeous captures. Most of the pictures here are sweeping landscapes, beautiful views, and abstract designs, so they’re better for website design, backgrounds for presentations, and wall swag. And by the way, we won’t tell if you decide to snag one of these for your own DIY decorating projects.

2. Stock Up

Startup Stock Photos

This gorgeous gallery features tons of high-res pictures for your choosing pleasure. Browse through the categories featured at the top of the site, from startup-specific shots to glamorous photographs, depending on your needs. Have a particular image in mind? Just type it into the search bar and you’ll get a wide selection of related images at your fingertips. This site gets major points from us on ease of use, great presentation, and lots of amazing art to choose from.

3. Death To The Stock Photo

The goal of this “mail order” stock photo site is to save you the work of searching and deliver all the photos you could need right to your inbox. Intended for blog posts, social media accounts, design mockups and more. A specially selected group of images arrives in your email each month to inspire you and maybe even branch out to use pictures you hadn’t thought of before.

4. All The Free Stock

Connect to stock photo sites using the side menu, then search for your ideal image or scroll through until you find the perfect match. Sure it’s a lot to sift through, but we promise you, it’ll be worth it when you find the perfect pic for your next creative project.
