Cozy Company Culture

Think, collaborate, and listen! Our next Admingling theme targets one of the newest responsibilities resting on admin shoulders—building and maintaining a strong company culture. You’ll hear how fellow Ninjas tackle things like team building, organization-wide communication, and keeping remote workforces in the cultural loop. Adding your own two cents and perspective during the discussion also means that everyone will walk away knowing lots more about encouraging inclusion and avoiding culture clashes.

Admingling was so much fun! It was wrapped up in a nice little package … the food, laughter, networking and open forum—all covered in two short hours. I went in knowing no-one and came out feeling like I had known these Ninjas forever. It’s nice to know what’s going on outside the four walls we’re in everyday. Connecting with other admins is priceless in so many ways!

Dana L.
Executive Assistant

So excited to be a part of this group of phenomenal Office Ninjas supporting each other!! It’s a tremendous resource (and a lot of fun) for any executive assistant, office manager, or admin. Thanks for creating this group and making us admins—who often feel alone or on an island—feel valued and supported.

Mindy S.
Office Manager

Unlike our larger shindigs, Adminglings are meant to be intimate in size. Reserve your ticket before we run out!

IMPORTANT! This event is exclusively for career admins (such as office managers, executive assistants, and operations pros). Each registration will be verified, and all non-admin signups will be automatically refunded.

Leslie Adkins

Executive Assistant to VP Compute Services

Leslie leads a dual life. By day, she supports a VP and 1,600 employees. But by night, she writes fiction or teaches admins composition basics. In addition to 25 years of experience as an admin, Leslie also is a master event planner and networker—known around town as “the one who knows everyone.”

Jill Kinison

Operations Manager, Slalom Consulting

A New Jersey native, Jill’s spent the past four years working in Seattle, doing everything from ropes course team building to organizational development that rounds out top-notch organizations. Aside from collecting more impressive titles (Seattle Top 10 Fundraiser in the house!), Jill’s dream is to win Dancing with the Stars.

Cozy Career Chats

Seattle Ninjas connected, shared ideas, and collaborated on solutions at this inaugural event. They discussed the challenges of the ever-evolving admin role and provided a variety of valuable perspectives—all with an amazing energy! Browse photos of the sold-out evening.

OfficeNinjas’ quarterly Admingling events arm Ninjas with the power of collective intelligence through networking with local admins in a lively environment while sharing challenges, brainstorming new ideas, and swapping solutions. Of course, it wouldn’t be an OfficeNinjas event without great food, tasty libations, and a quirky venue. That’s the secret sauce to Admingling: blending the best of a networking event with authentic interactions and a slight party vibe. Join us and tap into your admin community’s collective wisdom!

Do I have to be an admin to attend?

Yes! We designed Admingling specifically for Office Ninjas (executive assistants, office managers, admins). If you don’t fall in any of those categories or something similar, sign up for our newsletter or consider sponsoring an event.

Will I meet other people in the same role and industry as me?

You will, but that’s just the start. These events connect you to administrative professionals across all industries and levels of experience. You’re bound to meet someone similar to you, but the sky’s the limit in terms of potential contacts.

How can I volunteer?

Volunteers make us swoon. That's what makes these events so unique, enabling that local focus we’re so proud of. If you’re interested in being a volunteer, please complete this form.

What are the costs?

Each city’s inaugural event is free. Subsequent Admingling events will have a small admission fee (no more than $15) to help cover basic event expenses, including insurance, signage, swag, etc.

What's the refund policy?

Unfortunately, we're unable to offer refunds for high-demand events like Admingling. Mark that date with a Sharpie and count on coming!

I’d like to bring my whole office crew. Can I sign up as a group?

Office Ninjas who mingle together stay together. We love that you’re involving your co-Ninjas, but make note of our first-come, first-serve basis. We ask each Ninja to sign up separately, but this is a great use for the “reply all” button. And you could totally host a sign-up party as a group.

How often do Admingling events happen?

Admingling is held on a quarterly basis in established cities. To keep the Admingling calendar full, we depend on a volunteer Events Crew to keep events coming and introduce new territories. Want in on that action? Learn more and apply here.

I'd like to sponsor Admingling! How do I sign up?

We love making friends with companies that share our vision of uniting, educating, and celebrating the admin profession. Being part of something meaningful is part of the sponsorship package. Our ideal partner goes beyond promoting their services—they want to have an authentic dialogue with the OfficeNinjas community. Because of this, it’s important that we choose the right partners. If this sounds like your ideal partnership—and think your services could truly benefit Ninjas—we want to hear from you. Apply to be an Admingling sponsor.
